Woo Do Hwan joins in drama “The King: The Eternal Monarch” with Lee Min Ho

Young actor Woo Do Hwan will participate in the movie project “The King: The Eternal Monarch” with Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun.

On June 3, Woo Do Hwan’s KeyEast management company, confirmed that the actor will appear in the upcoming drama “The King: The Eternal Monarch”. This film project was written by Kim Eun Sook, a famous writer with popular dramas such as Inheritance, Sun Descendants, Elves and Sunshine.

Although both Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun have collaborated with writer Kim Eun Sook in the past, The King: The Eternal Monarch will mark the first time Woo Do Hwan collaborated with this talented writer.

The King: The Eternal Monarch is a film that deals with two parallel worlds. In a world, the emperor of the Korean empire sought to close the door between the two worlds to fight evil, while in another world, a Korean detective sought to protect her life and people she loves.

Last month, the film’s producers confirmed that Lee Min Ho will play the emperor Lee Gon, while Kim Go Eun will take on two different characters, one being Jung Tae Eul detective in Korea. and criminal Luna in the Korean Empire.

And Woo Do Hwan will play Jo Eun Seob, a normal public servant living in modern-day Korea. He will also play the role of Jo Young, bodyguard of Emperor Lee Gon.

The King: The Eternal Monarch is currently scheduled to begin filming in the second half of this year and debut in early 2020.
